Salary Range- $75,000- $85,000

Job Type- Full Time (38 hours per week)

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Chef to lead our esteemed kitchen team. As the culinary visionary

behind our kitchen, in collaboration with Management, you will oversee operations and uphold our

commitment to exceptional cuisine. We are seeking an individual with creative flair, attention to detail, and

outstanding communication skills.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality Italian dishes, contributing to menu planning, and ensuring

the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role ideal for a chef who takes pride in

delivering excellent food and a memorable dining experience

Key Requirements:

Prior experience in a fast-paced culinary environment.

Proven experience in menu creation and kitchen management.

Excellent understanding of food health, safety, and handling procedures.

Appropriate qualifications (Diploma or relevant AQF Degree)

3 years of Chef experience in a fast-paced environment

Expertise in modern Italian cusine

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Ability to work flexible shift hours

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities in the kitchen will include, but are not limited to:

Leading, mentoring, and managing the culinary team.

Developing and planning menus in consultation with the Owners.

Handling equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools.

Preparing and cooking food using various methods.

Instructing the kitchen crew in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.

Maintaining food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance standards.

Managing food costing, inventory, and purchasing.

Ensuring compliance with health codes and regulations.

Planning staff scheduling and assisting in human resources processes.

Maintaining equipment and utensils cleaning schedules.

About You

Proven experience as a chef, preferably in an Italian kitchen

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passionate about fresh ingredients and authentic recipes

Relevant culinary qualifications preferred

What We Offer
