Job description: About Goodstart Ferntree Gully
* 120 place centre located at the foothills of The Dandenong Ranges, catering to children from nursery to kinder age.
* Conveniently located – close to public transport, local schools, and Westfield Shopping Centre (all within 500m).
* Passionate, collaborative team that values professional growth, teamwork, and a welcoming environment.
* Enjoy working in your own kitchen, with the freedom to design and prepare delicious, nutritious meals that cater to children's dietary needs while keeping things fun and exciting!
* Part time contract – working 32.5 hours across the week days, 830am - 3pm, Monday – Friday, no evening or weekend work.
In this role, you will:
* Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
* Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
* Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic

You’ll need:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
* Current VIC Working with Children Check
