Position Summary

The company are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join its Adelaide based team on a full-time basis. The role involves carrying out a range of carpentry tasks across its residential, commercial and industrial projects with a focus on delivering a high standard of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

1. Construct, install and repair timber structures and fixtures.
2. Perform structural and second-fix carpentry work on residential and commercial projects.
3. Install timber flooring, walling, cladding, decking, fencing and other carpentry components.
4. Measure, cut and assemble materials in accordance with building plans and specifications.
5. Interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
6. Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades on construction sites.
7. Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian building codes and workplace safety standards.
8. Maintain tools, equipment and a safe work environment.

Skills and Experience Required

1. Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification, or at least 2 years relevant industry experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in residential or commercial construction.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Construction Industry White Card.
7. Current driver’s licence preferred.
