We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, renovating and repairing structures and fixtures made of timber and other materials across residential building projects.

Role: Carpenter

Employment: Full-time

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience & skills)

Location: Melonba NSW 2765

Key Responsibilities

·Interpret residential construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine layout, measurements and materials required

·Construct and install timber frameworks, wall structures, flooring systems and roof framing for residential housing construction projects

·Measure, cut and assemble timber and other building materials used in structural and finishing carpentry

·Install doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves and other interior timber fittings

·Carry out external carpentry works including cladding, fascia installation and other structural building components

·Assist with preparation and installation of formwork for concrete slabs and structural components where required

·Repair, modify or replace timber structures and fixtures during construction or renovation

·Verify measurements and structural alignment to ensure accuracy

·Work collaboratively with site supervisors, builders and other trades to meet project timelines

·Ensure all carpentry work complies with Australian building codes, project specifications, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.

Skills & Requirements

1. AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
2. At least 3 years of relevant carpentry experience
3. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
4. Strong knowledge of residential building construction methods
5. Commitment to workplace health and safety compliance
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Additional Requirements

1. Willingness to travel to different construction sites as required
2. Valid Australian driver’s licence preferred
3. Own reliable transport preferred
