Carpenter

Our client, Hills Wide Kitchens Pty Ltd, is a well-established and growing kitchen and joinery company based in Sydney. They specialise in custom kitchens, wardrobes, and high-quality residential joinery work.

They are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter / Cabinet Maker to join their team.

Job duties include but not limited to the following:

·Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required.

·Reading dimensions and installation procedures

·Ordering and selecting timbers, materials, and preparing layouts

·Cutting materials, assembling and drive nailing, cutting, and shaping parts

·Installing kitchens and other bespoke joinery onsite with hardware, e.g.,

·Hinges, catches, drawer runners and pulls

·Screwing fascia panels and fitting exterior and interior wall panelling and doors

·Operating a variety of woodworking machines and using various hand tools to

·Fabricate and repair wooden cabinets high-grade furniture.

·Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install

·Cutting wood joints

·Repair & modify existing fittings

Skills and Experience

1. AQF Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent).
2. Minimum one year of relevant work experience post-qualification.
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
