Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of strategic and operational tasks, including:

  1. Strategic & Operational Support: Providing high-level administrative, strategic planning, and operational support, research, and expert advice to senior management on critical administrative matters such as staff management, financial planning, facility management, and information services.
  2. Resource Management: Developing, managing, and optimising the organisation's administrative, financial, physical, and staff resources to achieve strategic objectives.
  3. Policy & Procedure Development: Developing and implementing comprehensive administrative, financial, and operational procedural statements and guidelines for use by all staff within the organisation.
  4. Financial Administration: Providing essential information and support for the preparation of financial reports and budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations.
  5. Issue Analysis: Analysing complex resource management issues and strategic initiatives that affect the organisation, and preparing thorough reports, correspondence, and submissions based on findings.
  6. Team Leadership & Development: Leading, managing, and developing administrative staff to ensure the provision of accurate and timely information and seamless day-to-day business operations.
  7. Representation & Promotion: Representing the organisation in key negotiations, and at conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums. Promoting existing programs and new policies to external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Minimum three (5) years of experience in a senior corporate or management role (five (5) years preferred).
  3. Proven leadership and organisational management skills.
  4. Strong understanding of Australian business compliance and HR frameworks.
  5. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Proficiency with business systems and tools such as Xero, CRM, HRIS, and **********.
