Job Description:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the residential and commercial solar sectors to drive company growth.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with LEAFi Solar’s goals in the Australian renewable energy market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including homeowners, installers, and commercial partners.
- Lead negotiations and close agreements with distributors, suppliers, and solar system integrators to expand market reach.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design campaigns that promote solar products and eco-friendly energy solutions.
- Monitor competitor activity, solar technology trends, and government policy changes to inform business strategy.
- Prepare and present monthly reports on business development performance, sales pipelines, and market insights to senior management.
- Manage budgets and resources to support solar project acquisitions and partnership initiatives.
- Represent LEAFi Solar at industry events, solar expos, and networking functions to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
Qualification:
- At least 10 years’ experience in an business development management role.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and market trends to inform business decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven mindset with a focus on target achievement.
- Exceptional organisational skills and proven team leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Diploma or higher qualifications in Engineering or Business highly regarded.
