Boilermaker / Fabricator – Workshop Based
Sunshine Coast (Caloundra Area)
Full-Time | Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join a busy Sunshine Coast workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied fabrication work and is comfortable moving between different tasks within a workshop environment.

You will be working within an established team and reporting to a workshop supervisor, while still having the ability to work independently and assist other team members when required.

This role suits someone who enjoys being a multi-skilled workshop tradesperson, contributing across fabrication, welding, assembly, and general workshop support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
• Fabrication and assembly of structural and fabricated components
• MIG welding across a range of materials (aluminium experience advantageous)
• Working with jigs, fixtures, and production setups
• Checking measurements and ensuring correct fit-up before welding or assembly
• Assisting with general workshop tasks including cutting, packing, and dispatch preparation
• Loading and unloading materials where required (forklift use advantageous)
• Maintaining quality standards and preventing rework
• Supporting other team members to maintain production workflow
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient workshop

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator (preferred)
• Solid MIG welding skills
• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
• Previous experience in a fabrication or production workshop environment
• Forklift licence advantageous (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team

• Full-time position – 42.5 hour week + Overtime
• Salary $80K – $90K + Super or $40/hr hourly rate option + OT
