Catering HQ is looking for proactive a Barista to join our dedicated team at Cronulla RSL on a Part time basis. Join our cafe team to provide amazing offerings to members and guests. We provide great opportunities for career progression.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
• Assist in the opening and/or closing of the catering department as per the company checklist guidelines.
• Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items
• Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements
• Provide exceptional quality, consistent coffee and beverages to our guests
• Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management

KEY QUALITIES

• 1-2 years' Experience in a similar role is ideal
• Have a strong customer service focus
• Professional, upbeat and friendly personality
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Positive and flexible attitude
• Highest level of presentation and grooming standards
• Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
• Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
• Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas
• Able to follow manual handling procedures correctly
