We are seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our growing team.
Location: Moorebank, NSW
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + Super (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Duties:
• Inspect vehicles and perform systematic testing to identify mechanical faults and performance issues
• Use diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to determine causes of engine, transmission, and system malfunctions
• Carry out repairs and servicing on engines, gearboxes, clutches, and related vehicle components
• Remove, repair, and refit mechanical parts, ensuring correct operation and compliance with manufacturer specifications
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid checks, oil changes, and component adjustments to maintain vehicle performance
• Reassemble and test vehicle systems after repair to ensure functionality and safety
• Replace or repair worn or damaged parts, including seals, gaskets, and drivetrain components
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work meets workshop quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of jobs
Skills & Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a mechanic in a workshop environment
• Certificate III in light vehicles-mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in drive train systems, clutch repairs, and gearbox/mechatronics work
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and general vehicle servicing
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
