Full Time Landscape Architect – Adelaide SA

At Treloar Gardens, we are a growing business specialising in professional garden maintenance, with a strong focus on ensuring our clients’ gardens are maintained in optimal condition year-round. As part of our ongoing business development, we are expanding our service offering to include landscape design and project-based works to better support our existing and future client base.

To deliver these expanded services, we have identified the need to engage a Landscape Architect to manage and deliver landscape design projects from concept through to implementation. This role will support the business’s strategic growth by enabling us to provide end-to-end landscaping solutions, improve service capability, and meet increasing client demand for design-focused projects.

Salary Range: $80,000 to 90,000 plus superannuation

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be able to plan and design projects for clients and provide estimated building times • Be able to consult with our customers and provide costs and designs • Be able to prepare reports, prepare worksite drawings, provide cost estimates for land development including modelling and structures for their garden. You must also present to the customer the final design of their garden.• Also need to continuously inspect work sites to make sure it is up to standards• Manage multiple deadlines and think ahead in a fast-paced environment • Bring a can do, proactive attitude every day

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Garden and Landscape Architecture

Experience Requirement:

• At least 2 years of experience in highly relevant role required.

Essential Skills:

• Demonstrated ability in planting design and plant specification, with a strong understanding of horticultural principles and landscape aesthetics.• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD/DAO design programs, to produce accurate and high-quality landscape design documentation.• Bonus: if you have experience in pool designs in case our customers need to have their pool designed.
