Are you looking for a rewarding career that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for delivering excellent customer service to people? An exciting part time and casual opportunities are available for dynamic and motivated individuals to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital’s Admissions and Reception.
Key functions include:
- Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
- Manage a busy reception desk
- Answer and redirect calls
- Organise appointments and prepare admission paperwork
- Conduct follow-up requests and make reminder calls for visits
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including the preparation of medical records
- Perform Health Fund Checks as required
- Manage the collection of excesses/co-payments
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
About You
You will be professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centric focus with highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role, you will hold:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Works well independently and within a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
- WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
