Pilbara Bakehouse is a local gourmet food business specialising in the creation, manufacture, retail, and wholesale of Australian, French, and European-style breads, cakes, pastries, savouries, and confectionery. We pride ourselves on producing fresh, artisan sourdough daily while staying true to traditional baking principles.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified Accounts Clerk to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare basic reports, including daily and weekly sales summaries
2. Assist with monthly financial reports (profit and loss, expenses)
3. Process supplier invoices and manage payments (accounts payable)
4. Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments (accounts receivable)
5. Assist with payroll, including timesheets and wage processing
6. Maintain supplier records and resolve discrepancies
7. Provide financial data to the accountant or bookkeeper for BAS preparation

About You

1. Relevant qualification in accounting or a related field
2. Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
4. Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
7. Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Salary

$85,000 + Superannuation
