Salary: $80,000 plus 12% Superannuation

Our client, Creative 16 Pty Ltd, operating under the Zip Solar brand, is a rapidly expanding provider of end-to-end solar and battery storage solutions across Australia. With increasing project volumes across residential and commercial sectors, the business requires a qualified Accountant to support financial management, compliance, and strategic decision-making at its Eastern Creek office.
This position goes beyond transactional accounting and plays a key role in financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and supporting management with accurate and timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
·Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
·Develop and maintain robust financial reporting frameworks to support business performance monitoring and strategic planning.
·Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost allocation, and margin assessment across solar installation projects.
·Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, and provide variance analysis with actionable insights for management.
·Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including GST, BAS, PAYG, and other regulatory requirements.
·Interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
·Support project-based financial management by evaluating project costs, revenue recognition, and financial viability.
·Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external tax agents, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
·Establish and monitor internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks.
·Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting processes, and business procedures.
·Provide financial insights to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and operational planning.
Minimum Requirements
·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·Minimum two years of relevant experience in an Accountant role.
·Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation requirements.
·Experience in project-based or construction/energy-related industries is advantageous.
