Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and examine financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve business performance
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, BAS, and other statutory requirements
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal control systems
• Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies
• Support management with forecasting and business planning
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
