Are you a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work for one of Sydney's best architectural home builders and work your way into overseeing multi million dollar projects. You will be supported in your development and moulded into a great builder.
Responsibilities:
- Complete carpentry work
- Support the day-to-day operations of the construction site along with the SM & PM
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
- Support and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations
- Monitor progress along with the SM
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience out of your carpentry apprenticeship
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
- computer literate
